WICONA profile systems made from recycled aluminium have been used by ALGLAS since 2018. Last year's implementation of the LAKESIDE PARK 02 project is the main reason for the latest award; this year, projects such as the Výhybkárna in Prostějov and METROPOLIS in Bratislava will be implemented using this system.

ALGLAS, which specialises in the manufacture and supply of exterior and interior facades, was awarded the WICONA Distinguished Partner Certificate last year. By working with one of the most sustainable companies in the aluminium sector and using its CIRCAL alloy for its projects, ALGLAS saved a total of 217 tonnes of carbon dioxide for 2022, significantly demonstrating its focus on sustainable production.
The CIRCAL alloy consists of at least 75% of consumer waste from facades and windows that have been dismantled from buildings and fully recycled. This maximises the use of end-of-life material, while only 5% of the energy needed to produce primary aluminium is used for production.
It is a top quality alloy with one of the highest recycled content available on the market today.
